November Happenings
November was full of activity for the life of our parish family. We began by going to visit the monastery of Holy Dormition, where we were greeted by Mother Gabriella and Mother Macrina, who impressed upon the pilgrims how we can take aspects of monastic life and implement it in the midst of the world. The parish also celebrated the ordination of Fr. Alexander Earl, which happened on November 6th at St. Vladimir's Seminary! Fr. Alex, Matushka Danielle, and little Cordelia are completing their third year of seminary and awaiting a parish assignment.
Several of our parishioners also went on Pilgrimage to Jerusalem, where they experienced indescribable Grace from the visitation of Monasteries, meeting Holy Elders of the Faith, and receiving the Sacraments from the Holiest Places in the world.
This past month has also been full of activity with the building project! The walls have been erected for the new Church addition, and soon the construction crews will be working to connect them into the existing building. It is quite astonishing when one goes and sees just how big this addition is going to be! God has given us this incredible gift, and we all have a mission to take it and make it bear fruit in the lives of others. May it be blessed!
