2021 Kayak Blessing and Trip Down the Shiawassee River

To kick off our first ever “St. Mary Magdalene Week”, we had our second annual blessing of a fleet of kayaks and canoes after the Divine Liturgy. Participants and Faithful were treated to a cook-out and snacks, followed by over 48 kayaks and numerous other passengers taking a trip down the Shiawassee River located behind the Church. The paddle took us to the Linden Mill Pond where Linden was celebrating their 150th anniversary as a city!
